If i turn off the auto restart in system failure i would also have to restart the pc everytime i quit sims 2. is there another way to shut down the pc? |

i can't install my new game! the problem is that my second cd don't work. my cd-rom can't read the disk at all. i'm almost sure that it's not the cd, because i went to the store and got it changed. i can't be that unlucky. so what could be wrong? |

okay so i posted earlier and i followed someones advice and deleted some stuff about the sims2 from my computer and then uninstalled it, I'm now trying to reinstall it but for some reason the D drive stopped reading disks! not only sims 2 but all of them. |

When I try to install directx 9.0c off the sims 2 disk it says "a cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted". then i download it from microsoft and i get the same message. what do i have to do to sort this out? |

I installed the sims onto my new hard drive (it is connected via firewire if it helps), and then i tried to install university. then whenever i try to play with the university disc it says i need the original disc.. what is wrong? |

A while ago I bought SIM City 4, and although my laptop had sufficient spec and the correct graphics cards etc I got the 'blue screen of death' and had to return it. I'm reluctant by buy Sims 2 until I know it will work on my laptop. Any suggestions? |

I recently got sims 2 but am having problems with installing it i have all the stuff thats needed but when i insert disk 3 it freezes up n sometimes freezes when i insert disk 2 so i took it back and got it replaced but the same thing keeps happening |

The Ctrl + Shift + C does not work for me, I'm runnin the Sims 2 and The Sims 2 University. It did not work in any of them. Any one know why? or how to change the keys for opening the cheat box? |

When i play Sims2, the loading screen(s) take forever, & when i play i can play fine for about 5 maybe 10 mins then everything gets slower & freezes for a few mins[max was like 7mins]. So can someone play tell me how to fix this? |

I can't seem to be able to download the sims 2. My computer is new (not even a week old) and it was the best one they had on store. Yet at the first disk, there is a small window that said there was some thing wrong so the file Voice1 could not be copied! |
