2602. Counter reset

Due to some problems with our visitor counter, it's been reset. It'll start counting again at midnight (from 0). We'll stick to the current counter as our official visitor number, which took it down with about 30,000(!) (since 14 January 2002). We want to thank you for visiting us and so increasing the visitors number, and we hope to get back to 30,000 (and more) again soon.

2604. SimGolf in stores

SimGolf is now in the stores. With that event, the official SimGolf site has launched too. From there you can also download the demo or the fansite kit. To buy the game, you can go to the EA Store. It costs $39.95. Europeans can expect the game to be on the shelfs in about a week, but you can already order it online. For the registered users on thesims.com, you don't need to re-register, Just login using your thesims.com username and password.

The Hot Date patch released yesterday, has been removed from the official site because it was causing problems. You can expect a working patch soon at the official site.

2608. Problems with HD patch

There seems to be a problem with the Hot Date patch released this simday. The problem: user created objects for downtown - or objects edited to be available downtown - no longer work. They will still appear, but there are no actions available for them. You can try recategorizing them, but we're not yet sure if that works. Also, the patch only seems to work on the US versions of the game, and not on any other versions. We will keep you updated...
