I've found another review of The Sims Online at Games Domain:
"Even now that the game's in US stores, many pre-release bugs remain, such as the occasional inability to enter your own house, the inability to look around the neighbourhood, disappearing items, and increasing lag that slows the game to a crawl. For that matter, the game designers were still making major gameplay tweaks related to skills, jobs and money on the release date as they struggle to fix an imbalanced game. While we're confident they will eventually work out these issues, the game could look very different in three months than it does today. It will likely be nothing more than ICQ with 3D avatars instead of what most people would call a game."I guess there are still quite some patches to come for this game when I read this. The whole, rather criticising, review can be read by following this link.
