Maxis has released an official press release about The Sims on the Playstation 2 platform, giving us more information about it. As mentioned earlier, the gameplay would be more level-based, and the graphics would be 3D. Extra information this time includes that you can also play the game with 2 players, that there will be objects exclusive to the PS2 version (like a Bug Zapper and a strip poker game).
