From PSX Extreme we can read that EA and Maxis are 'exploring the possibilites' of making The Sims for Sony's PlayStation 2. An official announcement hasn't been made (yet), but there are 'strong plans to develop a PS2 game based on The Sims'. The speculated release date that EA will aim for is before the holidays in 2002.
