Since we have found out how to get there and stay as long as we can, in the second part of our indepth reports about The Sims 3 World Adventures, we are going adventuring. Ranging from what types of adventures there are, basic items to equip your sims with in order to get adventuring, what treasures can be found in a tomb, what can be found in a tomb and to what can be done in order to try and avoid getting in this sort of situation, this report covers it all.

More great work from you, Andy! Thanks again for your enlightening posts...
And I'm glad you mention something I only found out a few weeks ago myself - the "no mosaic" mod seriously hinders the gaming experience in World Adventures!!! Once I deleted it (because I couldn't see the fish in the new aquarium that came with High-End Loft Stuff) a whole new world unfolded before my eyes! Not only at home (I could now see the fish, the animations in the new wall lamps and the bubbles in the bubble bath in the new corner bathtub) - but also an amazing plethora of visual effects in Egypt (that's the place I've been exploring lately)!!! Those tombs became even more amazing! That censor patch gets on my nerves like few things can, but now I'm willing to live with it in exchange for all the new great effects that I can see when I'm playing with my Sims! :)
I think everyone should at least try removing the "no mosaic" mod - the one you refer to that's compatible with World Adventures, sadly isn't compatible with High-End Loft Stuff and doesn't let you see a few visual effects that came with it.
I'm sure someone will work on it soon, but until then I'll just have to take a deep breath and count to ten every time my sims get "infected" with that pixelation virus! :)

I hadn't noticed any change with HELS (yet), but I will look for a replacement patch. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Carla, and as always, thankyou for your comments :)

Right now, I don't really have the time to test it, but I just read about a nomosaic package that's supposed to be compatible with HELS - the site's in German, but it's easy to get to the download link: http://www.sims3forum.de/sims-3-modding/6381-nomosaichels-luxus-accessoires.html
If anyone wants to give this a try and let us know if this works... ;)

Well, I couldn't help myself! lol
I went for a quick spin in Simland with the new "nomosaic" package installed (http://www.sims3forum.de/sims-3-modding/6381-nomosaichels-luxus-accessoires.html) and it seems to work just fine - both in the base game with HELS objects and when travelling in World Adventures! But, as I said, it was a quick spin... Just in case, I'm keeping my fingers crossed! ;)
