Several Pre- and reviews of the Sims 2 Pets for Nintendo's Wii have appeard on the web recently. The game is almost a direct port of the PlayStation 2/GameCube version of the game, but focuses on the Infra-Red technology of the Wii to do the controls. There are four articles, all of which say basically the same: there's no much difference with the versions released on the other two consoles earlier. The Wii's remote is the main new feature, as it allows you to just basically draw the outline of your houses using the Wiimote as a sort of pencil. The pointer then allows you to apply floors, set up wall locations and apply paint to the walls as well. As it behaves much like a mouse it works well for the Sims. Other than that the articles cover the base aspects of the game, which have already been discussed thoroughly when the game was released last year.
