The Sims 2 as well as Will Wright are nominated for several awards. First of all, there is the Metreon Walk of Game award. Both the game and its creator are listed, and fans can vote for the game until the end of the month, once every day. Currently Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) is ahead of the Sims when it comes to characters, but Will Wright is still on top of the designers. Besides that, the Sims has also been nominated for a "Golden Joystick" award, which will be revealed in London early next month. The Sims 2 University has been nominated for PC Game of the year, whereas the Sims 2 itself is up for getting the "Girls Choice" award for 2005. EA, publisher of the Sims series, is nominated to become publisher of the year. Go to the Golden Joystick website to cast your votes. The London Hilton will be the place on 4 November where the awards will be given away.
