Nightlife Reviews
Two more reviews about Nightlife, the recently released expansion for the Sims 2, have appeared on the net. The first is from WorthPlaying, which rates the game a 7.3 out of 10. In the review they mention that a missing Goth club could be built in around 30 minutes. Other than that, most of the features are briefly mentioned. Although there aren't any new careers, the new Pleasure aspiration makes up for it. Altogether the expansion pack is solid, but a bit pricey for the amount of content in it. The second review is posted by Slashdot. They praise the new objects that Nightlife gives a player, like the bowling alley or the restaurant host stand. Whereas the favourite object of the Worthplaying editor is the poker table, the Slashdot editor prefers the karaoke machine. The price is mentioned too, this time with the conclusion that the pack won't really attract new players. New players should pick up the base game first, and wait a while before paying $30 for Nightlife, which is more aimed towards the veteran player. The final score is a decent 7 out of 10. You can read the WorthPlaying review or the Slashdot review for more details about their opinions.
