Maxis asks for Bug Reports
Many bugs have already appeared in Nightlife, including the Karaoke bug where voices cannot be heard, neighbour view settings not being saved properly, only 2 Club Cubes (the colourful stackable blocks) can be put on top of each other without tricks (see Read more for details about this one), Sims losing their cell phones after installing the expansion, Sims saying their job is $Jobtitle, and more.

Maxis is now asking for help of the fans. If you encounter a bug, and know how to reproduce it, you should fill in the form as good as you can. The form has now been put online focussing on Nightlife problems. The better you help the more likely it is that some bugs will be fixed.

There is a trick to get high piles of the Club Cubes, though it's not very intuitive. First put two cubes on top of each other. Then place another cube somewhere on the floor. Pick up the bottom of the two other cubes, and place that on top of the single cube by dragging the bottom cube of the pile of 2 on top of it. You should now have a pile of three. You can repeat this process to make a stack that goes literally through the roof. Just keep placing single cubes on the floor, and put the pile you already have on top of them to make it grow. If there is a limit to the size of the stack, it's very high.

There are problems with the Sims that go back to the base game that have still not been fixed. The nannys for example- when you employ them 'just for now,' then ask them to leave, they stay on the lot and will not leave. They won't leave until the young characters become teenagers.
okay

I remember when Maxis put up a similiar form to report bugs in the original game.

Either none of the bugs got fixed, most of the "features" became bugs, some bugs stayed bugs and some bugs were made worse. Amazingly enough, some of these date back to the original game - disappearing portals for example, still an issue nearly six years into the franchise.

I think Maxis shouldn't just limit this form to Nightlife problems but the entire game (Sims2+Uni+Nightlife) as a whole.

I think the patch they are making is for Uni and NL. You could probably submit bugs from the original game using the bug submit form... I don't think it's specifically just Nightlife.
I love cheese!
