Because University has officially shipped, Tim has sent his last community e-mail regarding this expansion pack. He once again gives some basic info of the expansion, and says goodbye for now. He will be back in a few weeks though, quite possibly for Nightlife. For now he's sent another movie, and two wallpapers to download. You can find those below. Read on for Tim's exact words.

"Hi Everyone,

"Well I can't believe I'm writing to announce that tomorrow The Sims 2 University will be on store shelves in North America (it's coming soon in Europe too). It seems like we just started a couple months ago. I can't wait to hear what you guys think.

"I'm personally really excited about the new "Young Adults," and the college experience. It's so gratifying to know that we have been able to add to the lifetimes of the Sims in such a meaningful way. I think college offers such a great storytelling environment, and the strategy of setting your Sims up for successful adulthood is a fun and rewarding challenge.

"Of course, the core of any expansion is the objects. I'm really proud of the quality and detail we've put into this pack. I still find it fascinating to watch my Sims playing a real game a pool, even after seeing it dozens of times. I laugh every time the udder fills on the Cow Plant. And hearing a low-skilled group jamming on the band objects makes you appreciate those high creativity Sims even more.

"There is other great stuff too. Using "Influence" to get someone to do your homework or clean your room feels good every time you do it. New socials, like "Pillow Fight," definitely add to the youthful vibe - and having your Sims "Streak" is sure to get some laughs. And of course it's fun to build and decorate with the new Groovy and Medieval collections. Just like any good expansion, there is something for everyone.

"Since this is kind of a graduation moment for us, the release of our first The Sims 2 expansion, I thought you might like seeing our Sims on their last day of school. There are also a couple cool wallpapers to share.

"Thanks as always for being such a big part of The Sims 2 experience. I'm going take a few weeks off, but I'll be back in touch soon. But, I doubt you'll miss me much as you'll be busy helping your Sims make the most of their college years.
