Electronic Arts has made a financial donation of $250,000 to the UNICEF South Asian Tsunami Relief fund to support the victims of the tsunami disaster at the end of last year. Employees donating to UNICEF or the Red Cross before 31 March will see their money donated on a 2-to-1 ratio by EA. Electronic Arts is not the only games company to pledge money to charities for the disaster, CCP in Ireland has also donated some money, and gamers at the Big Screen Game Tournament in London 8-9 January also raised nearly $2,000.
