I've been using a program that allows me to play The Sims without the CD, and have long since lost the CD. Transferring the entire Sims folder to a new computer does not allow me to play it on the new computer. What else do I need to do?

I don't have the answer to your question but I do have my own. Where can I get that program you use for your Sims game? I just recently lost the disk.

Such programs (No-CD patches) are very often used to play pirated (illegal) copies of the game, and you cannot be helped with them here. This question has been locked for that reason. You can get a replacement CD from EA for a small fee. Contact EA Customer Support for more information, you can find their contact details at the back of the installation guide that comes with the games and expansions.
