i know u can hav carz but how do u get them , do u get them from a special car buy mode or you get them with jobs and promotions?

From what I was told the sims just have them for decoration, But i belive Maxis will make it that they'll be able to drive them Like on bustin out, Except theyll be drivingto neighbor houses or grocery stores, and etc...... (Hope I've Helped)

In the newest screenshoots in Thesims2.com i saw there is a woman and a man used a limo to hang out. So, i think, we'll be able to use that car. Not just a car. A helicopter too.

The cars you can buy are for show/decoration only, and you can buy them with a lot of money. Sims can't drive them in The Sims 2, maybe in a future expansion pack.

The helicopter is a 'carpool' for work, so your Sims don't use it to visit neighbours etc.
