Where can I find the telephone pack download for Livin' Large that helps the Sims social points increase by chatting on the phone rather than inviting over? Old links have led me nowhere. Thanks so much for an answer. ~FM :)

I think you need to Phone Plugin. Afaik it was an official download from the official site, but I can't find it there. You might be lucky at the UK site. Either way, it should be included in other expansion packs, if I remember right starting from House Party.
