My sims can go to studio town and do stuff. But what my sims are lacking is the STUPID TABLOID that DOESN'T come to my sims homes. There fore making a sim into a star not possible and studio town pointless.

I've got lot's of stars and I don't even know who the tabloid is!

The tabloid is delivered along with the newspaper every morning. If the newspaper is delivered but the tabloid isn't, then you might have to reinstall Superstar. In the CD Menu (Autorun) choose "More Info" and then choose "Reinstall The Sims Superstar".

If the newspaper isn't delivered either, then you might be missing the pedestrian portals on the lot (you probably also won't get any visitors). Try pressing Control+Shift+C (at the same time) to make the cheatbox appear. Enter prepare_lot and press enter. If that doesn't work either, get the Mailbox/Trashcan replacer from SimsPlus. I found a clock on www.wilkarefunsims.com that gives you five stars. If you do this then you are automatically given an agent, however if you get a job then you are no longer a star. If you get an agent again then you are.
