In Bon Voyage, while sims are staying at hotel, & want to eat there, when I click on the "be seated" thing, they get seated separately. Why do they not get seated at the same table? They have to each be seated at their own table. I don't understand why

I'll try to make more sense, I ran out of room. continued: I clicked on the Hostess while my male sim was active and she seated him. His wife sim just stood there. I tried to click on his table to have her join him but was not permitted to do so. I had to activate the wife sim and click on the hostess again and she was placed at her own table. How do you get the sims to eat out TOGETHER? This only happens while on vacation. When my Sims are at home and go on a date, they are automatically seated together. Can anyone explain this?

When one of them clicks the hostess, the other diner, in this case the wife, will eventually sit with the other male sim. It's just like in NL; they just have a few things queued up.
