I have no idea what I did: all but Pleasantview house is gone! Help!

Yeah something happened to my game as well! Now when I try and get on Pleasantview my computer crashes or doesn't load it, and Strangetown has been replaced with an unplayable Downtown neighbourhood! Also when I get onto the Pleasantview downtown (you can get there without loading the base neighbourhood) and press Back to Pleasantview the loading screen works but it loads Downtown up again and not Pleasantview. Blehhh.
