Solution to all whose game freezes on 23%, 77% or similar!

If you still have the sims 1 installed, then uninstall it and run sims eraser.This happened to me, the sims 2 installed to 77% then froze and wasn't responding. I uninstalled sims 1 and ran eraser and sims 2 installed and ran perfectly! Its a risk i know uninstalling the original sims all your hard work etc. But try it and good luck, hope this works for you!

Can you help with the problem on 16%? It says "A problem occured when try to transfer the file'TSData\Res\Sound|Voice5.package' from the media. Retry or Cancel?" Retrying doesn't work.
