When i insert disk one of the sims 2, after a few seconds of installation, a error comes up saying ' a problem occurred whentrying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sims3D\Sims0.8package' from the media.' then when i try to retry it happens again!HELP ME!!

This happened to me too. I just kept retrying (it took about 5 times if I remember correctly), but it eventually installed properly.
