I haven't tried the Sims Online yet, is it worth it? Are the sims more like the sims in sims 1 or sims 2? do they interact with the sims created by other people??

The Sims Online (TSO) generally has a very bad reputation for most folks.

The look / feel is very "Sims 1" (no 3d). You create a "Sim" (with limited capabilites and options compared to the PC / Mac version) and perform actions in a "town" (an online environment).

It's basically a chat room with a "Sims 1" look and feel. The folks there are either "old timers" (they've been playing a while) or "newbs" (new people ... of which there are not many).

Maxis doesn't sell it any longer (it's available as a download but not for "sale"). If you are very interested, you can download a trial from EA Games and try it out.

Not recommended.
