HELLO PEOPLE! I think i have the answer for you! My game kept freezing ALL the time and took about 5 mins to respond to what i told them to do. So what i done was- I took out the sims 2 game from my PS2 and reset the console. When you turn the PS2 on, it will automatically go to an optional screen where you will have to choose between BROWSER and SYSTEM CONFIGURATION. Go to BROWSER. A screen will appear with a memory card picture in the middle. Click X and it will show you all of the games you have saved since you started to use the memory card. In the top left hand corner of the screen, it will tell you how much space you have left to use. The sims 2 uses up about 100-200 KB each time you save, which is why it takes so long to save. So if there is less than 6000 KB left of your free space, then you must delete some of your games memory- start off by deleteing games that you hardly ever play. EYE TOY takes up a LOT of space, so delete that if you have it. Games such as DANCE MAT games and SINGSTAR, you can delete anyway because you dont actually have to have the game saved to play it. Your FREE SPACE should go up after you have deleted some games. [you delete by click X on the game icon you want to delete, then click delete] so there is absolutely NO NEED to use cleaning discs for your PS2, its simply because your memory space is low! Sorry if i have confused you and if you guys all need any more help you can email me: xxrobynthefairyxx@hotmail.co.uk Hope I have helped you lot though! robyn xxx
