I installed "Deluxe Edition" successfully, but when I tried to play it, it loaded to "Adjusting Emotional Weights" and then suddenly closed and nothing happened. I have tried re-install it, also. What should I do!??!

did you use the erazer too,it is on your frist cd,if you dont use it wont insall right the sec time
because it leves files in reg
so try erazer than reinstall it it should work than

I have had a similar problem. I've installed and reinstalled, but I can't use the sims eraser because i bought the game used and apparently the previous owner registered the game and i can't get a copy of it without having an unregistered game. Any ideas?

Yea I've been having the same problem too since yesterday. My sims was working fine but my friend bought the sims superstar so I uninstalled my sims so I can install it because I had makin magic and after reinstalling my mega deluxe it would start up and then cut off. I don't know what the problem is and I tried re-installing it a few times.
