Knowledge - Question
I have Sims 2 DVD version. Nothing happens when I put the game in the drive it does not recognise it, EA games cannot help. My system meets requirements and I have tried loads of stuff suggested from EA nothing works. The game will work on other machines

If you don't have at least a DVD Rom in your computer it's not going to work.

I do have a DVD drive! Updated the firmware for it, updated drivers for the graphics card, reinstalled Direct x etc etc nothing works. Changed various settings which was advised from EA, still nothing.
