As much as your game will handle. :) The biggest problem caused by user made content seems to be game sluggishness, which can be caused by the high poly counts of some custom content. If your game is running smoothly & you have a decent amount of RAM, a good video card and a relatively fast processor, you likely won't experience many problems though (unless, for example, your cumulative poly counts are outrageously high - I thought there was a limit, but I can't remember off hand what it was).
