My friend bought triple deluxe but it didn't come with livin it large. Was the first disc sims 1 + livin it large, or are maxis missing a disc from it? Also, does that explain why she has 5 nieghbour hoods, more stuff (in different catergories) and I dont

Triple Deluxe does include Livin' Large as standard. Usually not marked as being the case.
As for extra neighbourhoods - yes, that explains it as the support was added in Livin' Large, expanded again in Hot Date and expanded yet again in Unleashed.
