i have a problem that happens when i try to go to the magic town and the blimp come i get in and then i hear the magic town music then it goes right back to my desk top and it happens tot he vaction one to i go and get in cab pick the spot

You can download the file cop and that will fix it or u can call maxis and ask them cya

It's a program. Look to the side of this page, on the navigation. Look in downloads; utilities; file cop. It should be there and you'll be able to download it from then on.

Okay i did that and the file cop and i went to play the game and it still did the same thing and went back to the desk top!

If you have tried reinstalling the game but are still having problems then it's a memory issue. Your computer doesn't have the memory to run the expansion packs properly.
Try getting rid of any downloaded files you don't use for the sims, also clean your computer files and programs up (get rid of anything you don't use that won't hurt your computer's performance), or opt for buying another memory chip. That's about all you can do I'm afraid :(

ok thanks but not to be mean or anything but my computer is new i jsut got it and all it has is like rollerocaster tycoon and the sims oringinal and then mm! thanks tho i try that!

is downloading the filecop safe? I really dont wanna get any viruses. I have the same problem (I already posted a question) and everytime i go the select or create a family it goes back to the desktop, but i can still play with the people that are already in the homes- if i did download the filecop would everthing be erased and be like it was when i first installed the games?

No, nothing will be erased and yes it is safe depending where u get it from just be careful where u are downloading and it thats all i can say!
