can children cook some thing to eat now or is it still just have a snack

Children can't cook with the real stove or microwave, and they still have to eat only a snack, but now there are three choices for a snack: juice, cookies, and chips.
Your sim child can cook with the special toy oven found in buy mode under children's in the large category of miscellaneous, and with that the child can cook a muffin and can eat it, and also they start to gain a cooking skill point. Hope I have helped.
