Hi, can sum1 please tell me if you NEED a video card to install the sims 2, and if so where do i find one, can you download it???

Well if you didn't have a graphics card you wouldn't be able to write that.

oh wel thats ok then but can u plz tel me why it freezes on 95% wheneva i install it and says it cannot transfer the file from the media

Dirty media?
On the way out CD unit?
Conflict with something else that may be trying to access the CD (virus scanner for example)?

ok thanx iv managed 2 install it now but the problem is wheneva i load it up, it comes up with an error saying that the "D3D9.DLL file is linked to missing export DDRAW.DLL:DdEntry21" what does this mean and what do i do, thanx :-D. P.S, it also says "a device attached to the system is not functioning" please help!!!!

That's a DirectX problem, means the Ddraw.dll is out of date. Reinstall DirectX.
