When you have a your sim gets a job, you don't have any vacation days right away. How many days does your sim have to work to get vacation days?

Well, quite a while actually. Maybe a promotion or two? My sim got to the top of the food (culinary) career track and she had like, a weeks worth of vacation days so she stayed home with her family. :D

The strategy guide says that you get 0.15 of a day in vacation each day, so after about a week or so you get a day in vacation.
