Can teens and their friends go to the store or disco without parents,can they go on like McDonald's or something?

There are no fast food restaurants like McDonalds or anything, but there are restaurants ,like in Sims 1. Teen sims can throw parties without aldults supervizing, but they cannot go out to parties dancing.
