how can I change the clothes of my sims?

You can change your sim's clothes by buying a dresser, and then clicking plan outfit. There you will be able to choose the outfit. Then click on the dresser again, and click change into... the outfit you planned. If there aren't many choices when you were planning, go to a shopping center and buy some new clothes.
