I've installed the game, and played on it, but the graphics are atrocious, I can't see what's in their thought bubbles its all so blurred, i tried upping the graphics on the options bar, but it still doesnt work, any suggestions?

Is your Video card one of the recommended ones?
Also try updating your video card drivers
In the game if you LOWER the settings it requires less of a demand on your card and may help you see better rather then setting it on high it should be on lower.

If all this does not work then a new video card may be needed Since you gave No specs on your machine it is sort of hard to say what may be needed

If in fact it is a card though they can be gotten fairly reasonable at NewEgg.com
They have good ones for like 80.00
BUT you may need memory or processor or anything Again No spec info makes it hard to answer
