Various factors pending, it's usually about a second of real time for every minute in the game but this will vary depending on what's going on in the game, such as how many sims, what they're doing, where they are and general rendering, etc.

So if we say 60 seconds of real-time for every hour of sim time, that's 24 mins of real time for a Sim Day. Most users will be able to get through it quicker than that owing for work/school and sleep.
