Can Sim neighbors steal BABIES??? Mine did! I've lost one of the twins to a neighbor! She left while holding one...and I couldn't stop her!

Mine stole my toddler!!!! How terrible is it... Im so suspicious of neighbours now when ive got a kid. I just came out of the game and didn't save - lost a couple of days but at least the child was back.
Was the original family rich or the person who stole it a knowledge sim - trying to work out who and why they do it?

Actually...I found elsewhere that it is indeed a bug. Babies and todlers can be kidnapped! But the kid was back when I entered that household again.

Its not a bug! Neighbours can steel babies and toddlers but when u enter the household again, the baby/toddler will be there again.

ive heard about this problem before im so warey when a neighboor comes now i always try to have the baby safe in the parents arms all the time neighbors are around

Send that baby snatching neighbor 'round to my neighborhood! I am a twin myself and I tell you, even with fertility drugs they are NOT that common.

Hahahah, I'll have to do that. Send the snatcher around for you, Seven. My mother's a twin, and I know they're not that common. I tell you. I was sorta happy when the kid was taken to be honest. A single mother with two Sim-babies...that's hard to keep up with! I only wanted ONE!

Omg that's scary! I don't want my baby snatched! She just had her third kid! I'll keep that in mind... she had twins before! It was awesome but so flippin hectic!!!! She had a girl and a boy. Rhyme and Reason. Thats what I named 'em....

If you download the patch from the official site, then your neighbors won't walk off with your toddlers or babies while holding them and leave the lot. This is a bug in the game, but luckily there is a solution.

Actually Liz, once the neighbor leaves with the baby, they don't come back. And if you go to their house, the baby won't be there.

One of my kid sims had a friend over (also a kid) and she died while at our house. I thought they just leave if one of thier needs gets too low. I didn't save..but it was wierd! That's kinda on the subject...haha
