In the trailers for the sims 2 you see some sims at work, can you see them at work in the game?

Those pictures are not actually of sims at work. Many trailers are simply entirely fake, and are not part of any in-game footage. Others are mockups, done using career awards and furniture to give the appearance of being an office, even though it is not actually an office. You cannot see the Sims at work, although you may occasionally be presented with a text "chance card" choice when they are at work.
