When a woman gets pregnant in the Sims 2, she doesn't need to get new clothes, since her normal clothes will grow with her.

In one of the videos a women had her baby at home and not in the hopspital, so I guess they changed that feature. But, I heard here that the baby is born 'fairly suddenly'. " A baby will be born fairly suddenly ("plop and it's there" - no doctor or hospital)." URL: http://www.thesimszone.co.uk/news/archive.php?ID=1659

No, sims don't go to the hospital, they stay at home. And yes, the baby just pops up into his/her mommy's arms. And about the maternity clothes, there's a hack for it. Try searching from Google with the words "The Sims 2+maternity clothes", because I dont remember the URL. First you download the maternityclothes file and then there's a small collection of actual maternity clothes too, so your sims doesn't have to wear PJ's whole time of the pregnancy. The clothes that you download, will show up to the PJ's section, NOT everyday clothing.

And I mean, the actual maternity clothes, DO NOT come in the same package with the hack file, but from that same site where you can download that hack file, you can find those clothes. :) I've tested it myself.
