i cant install. After typing cd key, the pop up " are u sure u wan to exit the installation" pops up! what should i do? help!!!

Hmm - I'm having the same problem. My computer has all the specs for the game, but I can't get past the serial number stage...

I have heard that if you have CD burning software installed, you cannot play the game - yeah, that confused me too, but apparently its true.
If you have CD burning software, uninstall it and try to install the Sims2 again. Unless you know exactly what to do, I suggest you get someone to do it for you - I'm getting my boyfriend to do mine :).
