Why does Build Mode not work?

You need to be on a lot (or create a new lot)
Then select BUILD MODE, and then select WALL TOOL! Then klick and hold the left mouse button and drag out the lenght of the wall you want and release the mouse button.It won't matter if the terrain is level or not, the wall tool will automatically level out the terrain for you!
Look out for a spot you can klick on that looks like a little box!
By the way..... are you playing a ripped version?! that can be the cause, a lot of people have the same problem!

Don't use the NO-CD crack. This causes your problem.
