Knowledge - Question

When I try any place a lamp(example) outside, i rotate it to the direction i want it and when i click to place it, it rotates itself back and keeps doing this. Why?

To do that you'll have to klick on the lamp and 'HOLD' the mouse button!
two arrows appear!
Drag your mouse to the left or the right until the lamp has the right position!
And then 'RELEASE' the mouse button!
