Why is there no more music or sound when I play? It just stopped all of a sudden and the volume and everything is on.

Isn't there an option to mute everything in the game? If there is, check to make sure its not on...but I can't remember if that option even exists any way.

I had that problem once. The cause of my problem was I accidently made a subfolder in Downloads called downloads. If that is the problem go to My Computer under the start menu, and go to Local Disk: C, Program Files, Maxis, The Sims, and then Downloads. If you have another folder called Downloads then click on it and hold, and then pull it up into the large folder called Downloads. Good Luck!
