Lets say a sim gets pregnet without being married, will the father know the child is his? And does he send the wife money like in real life?

The father will be able to tell when he see that the child has similar features like he does

What if it's the sims1 though.... there's limited faces so the child may not look a lot like the parents..

It's not Sims 1. Features are made using a whole lot of variables. Children will have their parents' variables and so look quite a bit like their parents.

In Sims 2, the Sims will also understand familial connections. The child will know it's parents and, yes, the father will know the child is his.

in the sims 1 you have to be living together to have a baby.
