In the Sims 2 will the mother be able to go downtown grocery shopping, while pregnant with a baby?

I don't see why not. The only problem I could see is the same "memory" problem we had with Sims 1. Basically that babies were nothing more than objects so to move would erase all memory that there ever was a baby. However, in Sims 2, the baby is more than just an object (in a way). So I think that a mother could deffinatly go to town and do whatever she wants without the danger of the game "forgetting" that she was pregnant.

they cant do that cos if she likes walks into town then like the bump in her stomachs gone shed b oh no my baby! o well saves on baby sititng bills :D he he

how can you go downtown? i just bought the game and i didnt knew i could take sims out of their house :S

You definately can't go to community areas if pregnant in the sims 2 - if you try she'll just refuse to go once she is showing (you can go if she is pregs but not showing though with no problems).

wel u shouldnt becuz all her needs would minus VERY quickly and she would die in about two seconds
