In the sims 2 will you be able to send e-mails to other sims?

You will be able to chat online. However, I don't think that you will be able to check e-mail.

From what I've read, yes, it is part ot the new options of the computer in the sims 2, this is where I got it from:

it's in the 5th paragraph of the 7 paragraphs below the pictures.
"The computer has been improved quite a bit. It's now possible to chat, read/write e-mails, look for a job or a new house, order food (for in the fridge) or to play on the computer."

Yes, they've greatly improved the PC's, in some of the screenshots there have been Sims emailing. The computers look very good in The Sims 2 and are great ways to communicate between Sims.

Yup, they can send\recive e-mails.

Yes they can, you can also check emails, although, only your Sims can. They don't actually open a box on the game and allow you to type them and reply to them.

Sims can also blog. My sims don't very often but they can. It counts as a creativity-increasing activity like writing in the journal.
