in ts2 can you make your own buisness??

On a website they were like you can own a house, But I don't think that you'll be able to own a business!! I mean that would be fun, Because some of the money would help you to take care of the family and the bills!!!

No following your Sims to work. Unfortunatly, the only way your Sim could own a business is by getting far in teh Business career track. And then, it will only show up as a "CEO" job description. No actual business.
