Can sim children and teens get chores from their parents like cleaning their room or doin the dishes?

Well I've herd that parents can yell at their kids so why couldn't they b'able to tell them wat to do?

maybe the parents will have more control over their kids, cos in the sims 1, it was you who controlled them and if they threw parties, the parents wouldnt say anything.
