I have Deluxe and when I intall MM the MM screen shows up but it says to put in the correct disc, disc #1 is already in!

Is the Makin' Magic disc 1 in?

Check to make sure it is the Makin' Magic disc.

You could uninstall the Sims and then reinstall. That might work.

Yes, it was the correct disc. I tried uninstalling the Sims then Reinstalling it and then Magic, but it still wouldn't work. I tried it so many times that Deluxe started messing up! @_@ The thing is that hot date did this same thing to me. It will run fine with just Deluxe, but whenever I try to install an expansion it says the wrong disc is in. I already did the whole Drive letter thing as well, so I really can't figure this out ^^;;

i have the same problem and i still can't solve it... i tried doing some of the things ea suggested too. is there an easier way to correct this??
like download a patch or something?

it may be wanting the deluxe disk... i think thats how i fixed it... because i have deluxe and all of the things except superstar... you could also try getting houseparty and putting that in right after deluxe then mm

i found this and what I had to do was wait a while after putting the disc in for the computer to start reading it, then clicking ok.
