Is Maxis going to release caSIE? Or are they going to get rid of it?

Maxis will release CaSIE once the program is compleated. They are still tweeking and changing The Sims 2 game, and the Sims in the games. They need to make sure the Sims created with the CaSIE tool will be compatible with the ones in the finial game.

Just wondering if anyone knows about the uk release.. because the sims 2 is being released in the uk next month (i think the 27th march). does anyone know if this will mean there'll be an early release for CaSIE for us?

The Sims 2 is NOT being released in the UK next month. It's been delayed all over the world until the second half of 2004 - the game is not yet finished. CaSIE has been delayed too, but it's totally unknown when that will be released too. It could possibly take a few more months, you never know.

i don't mean to make anyone repeat themselves or anything, but is this a very recent delay? I'm asking because i was in Game THIS week and i asked about it, AND reserved a copy and they didn't even tell me it was delayed. I'll be a bit miffed, it was gonna be a birthday treat, yunno?
btw i didn't mean to deliberately contradict anyone about the release date, i totally thought i was on an american site :/

They annoced the delay around the end of the winter break.

Casie is supposed to come out around the 10'th of may... though this is still uncomfirmed
