Sims Deluxe crashes right after the introduction back to my desktop. The processor I have installed is the AMD 111 450. IS there a patch that I can download to fix this problem.

I don't think there is. I was runing the sims with hot date EP, including all other released before it, on a 380mhz ANM K6 II, W/ 196mb ram. and never had a problem, it just ran a little slow.

The processor has nowt to do with it. It will usuall be a corrupt file and/or a DirectX issue.
Therefore upgrade DirectX to the latest available, or reinstall the game.
