HELP! I have been trying to install sims original but the autoplay pops up, i chose english, click install and it gets up to 96% then just goes off and the only thing left up is the autoplay! what do i do???????????

I had this problem too... well almost the same.
on disk 4 it alwase stoped at like 86% or something on the same file so what I did was I downloaded a sims2 disk 4 (I think it's ligal if you want a backup)
I burned the disk 4 onto a blank dvd (works on blank cd's too) and I installed the game with the 3 cd's that came with the box and I crossed my fingers when I put in the 4th cd and it worked perfectly and I've ben playing sims2 ever sence. (you might be able to burn off your sims4 but I wouldn't sugest it)
